The following is a demonstration of the capabilities of 3M PCT multi-touch technology. Scaling photos or videos is a popular multi-touch capability demonstration, but few touch technologies offer 3M PCT's level of precise and fluid, multi-user interactivity. With its 20-touch and 6 millisecond point speed capability, 3M PCT multi-touch technology has plenty of touch bandwidth to let multiple users work effectively with objects on the screen. For dexterity and ergonomic comfort many users often rest their hands on the screen while manipulating objects. Other multi-touch touch technologies with limited bandwidth cannot accommodate the additional touch points this natural interface requires. This capability opens up a whole new range of touch interactions for software developers to build into their applications.
